Janalee Morris, M.A.

Diversity, Universal Design, and Academic Strategist Coordinator

I am the Coordinator of the Academic Strategist Program, and I also run our Peer Programs and help lead Research and Assessment within the Access and Inclusion Services office. I have been at MRU since 2012, and have worked in post-secondary institutions for over 20 years. I am originally from Saskatchewan, and have lived in all the Prairie Provinces and the south-west United States.

I hold a Master’s degree in Medical Anthropology with a focus on Disability Studies, gender, and international issues. I have lead research projects in Canada and in Uganda, and have taught university classes both in person and online. I love working with students and my goal is always to provide evidence-based services with a focus on student-led learning and advocacy.
