How to participate


While we may not be able to meet you in person this year, we are excited to meet you online and help you discover everything that Mount Royal has to offer.

How to attend an information session

Pre-registration is not required to attend Open House. Simply click on the information session that you’d like to join and start discovering Mount Royal!

All event times are listed in local Calgary time (MDT) and are live sessions. We are using Cisco WebEx for our information sessions. You have two options for how to join the sessions with Cisco WebEx:

  • On a desktop or laptop - simply click the event to join and follow the prompts to add the Cisco WebEx extension to your browser (Chrome extension, Firefox extension). You may need to have access to download and install software on your device.
  • On a mobile device - download the Cisco WebEx meetings mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. You do not need to set-up an account, simply copy and paste the information session URL you’d like to join into the app and you’re set! Make sure to download the app in advance of the event!

If you are asked for an event password, the password for ALL information sessions is OH2020.

How the info sessions work

All information sessions will be live and a presentation style format. Meet our faculty, get an overview of our program offerings and learn about the application process.

All sessions will include the chance for you to ask questions! Throughout the presentation, submit your questions to faculty and staff hosting the presentation by using the Q&A section in the meeting. Make sure to submit your questions to ALL PANELISTS so we can see and answer your question. Questions will be answered either publicly in the information session for everyone to see or privately to you.
