Meet with a trainer once a week for 12 weeks an work towards creating a healthy habit of fitness. The Power of 12 offers 12 personal training sessions for the price of 11 and your hard work will be rewarded with a complimentary Rec swag at week six and when you complete the program. .

This package has it all! Meet with your own personal trainer two sessions per week for 12 weeks, receive a pre/post-body composition or a fitness assessment and a nutrition consultation with a registered dietician once at the beginning, plus one follow-up session halfway through. This customized personal training package is created for you and tailored to fit your lifestyle. Work with one of our professional personal trainers to receive guidance and motivation in helping you work towards your goals. This package includes:
  • 30 minute initial consultation to discuss your goals and previous exercise experience. 
  • Three personalized four week training programs. These programs will be periodized so that the intensity, volume and type of exercises will be changed systematically as the program progresses for 12 weeks.
  • One hour personal training sessions at the beginning of weeks one, five and nine to review your training program, demonstrate proper techniques and provide continued encouragement and motivation. You will also have a follow up training session in week two to answer any questions.

The Fine Print Everyone Should Read, but Probably Won't: We work hard to provide a safe environment for all of our users. As a result, all personal trainers working within Rec must be employed by Mount Royal University (violations will result in loss of membership).

Personal Training/Nutrition Services Cancellation Policy: Full charge for less than 24 hours notice prior or no-shows. All new sessions include a 30 minute consultation. Prices shown are on a per person basis.

Attention Non-members: Recreation Centre access is only permitted during scheduled appointments with personal trainers. Any additional access to the facility can only be granted through the purchase of a day pass or Recreation Centre membership. We offer a variety of membership options to complement your needs.
