Your Mount Royal experience can pose new challenges for you. Increased workload and life changes such as moving away from home or forming new relationships are not always easy to deal with. If examples like these are causing you to feel extreme stress or trauma, Student Counselling’s Crisis intervention can you help through these difficult times.
Our Crisis intervention service is available to you during times of extreme stress or trauma. We also provide support following an assault, a death, or during times of suicidal thoughts or behaviours.
Our counsellors are available by appointment for crisis intervention. Priority is given to crisis situations. If you require immediate assistance there is a 24 hour crisis line available through the Distress Centre 403-266-HELP (4357).
Contact Student Counselling Services if you or someone you know requires assistance.
Should a crisis arise outside the regular working hours of Student Counselling, you can contact Mount Royal Security at 403.440.6897 or the Distress Centre 403-266-HELP (4357)Tips on coping with trauma
