Request a critique of your resume, cover letter or portfolio

No-cost critiquing is available to all current students in credit degree, diploma or certificate programs and graduates of such programs.

To request a critique, login to MyCareerHub and book your critique like you would an appointment:

  1. Go to MyCareerHub and under Students & Graduates, choose Login
  2. Login using your MyMRU credentials
  3. Your Dashboard page will be displayed – in the bottom right corner of the page, click the Action button (blue circle with 3 dots)
  4. Click on Book Appointment
  5. Select Career Services Appointments Calendar
  6. Click on Book By Appointment Type
  7. Locate Critique and click on the blue Book button – choose the date of your choice, and then a time
  8. Complete the appointment details form and upload your document
    1. Note: You can only upload ONE document; if you are having multiple documents critiqued, such as a resume and a cover letter, combine them into one document prior to uploading (acceptable document types: .doc, .docx and .pdf)

IMPORTANT: You do not attend this appointment. The critique will be completed during the appointment time slot selected and will be returned to you via email by the end of that day. Critique requests are currently not accepted in person.
