Resiliency & Recovery

How to survive and thrive in a new normal

Join MRU Continuing Education on Saturday, June 25, 2016 for some powerful presentations on personal and professional resilience to help you adapt to your changing landscape.

Albertans have been through a lot of change recently. Whether you’re dealing with the current economic climate, transitioning in the workplace or have been transplanted by a natural disaster, the lasting effects are felt on a personal basis. Katharin Pritchard’s presentation Resiliency: Investing in Ourselves (9 am – 12 pm) will provide you with tools and tactics to help you survive and thrive.

Businesses have had to prepare for emergencies and execute many emergency plans.  When the smoke has cleared, how do you find your way to business-as-usual? MRU Continuing Education instructor Steve Armstrong has contributed to emergency plans for disasters including the Fort McMurray wildfires, the 2013 Calgary Flood and the reaction to 9/11.  His presentation Organizational Resilience (1 pm – 4 pm) will offer some professional strategy to ensure your business or organization adapts and strengthens in the aftermath.
