User experience (UX) design focuses on designing and creating systems that provide meaningful, relevant and enjoyable experiences for users.

Investing in your career UX design is one of the top five technical skills employers are looking for. Nine out of 10 managers in the UX field say hiring user experience designers is a top priority. This four-course certificate, developed and taught by leaders in the field, focuses on the core job skills employers demand when hiring UX designers.

Through real-world and hands-on projects, learn how design thinking relates to UX and explore the role it plays in ensuring innovations in technology continue to put people first. Gain core job skills employers are looking for, including logical problem solving, research skills and active communication.

This certificate combines all the benefits of a part-time schedule with the deep learning of a comprehensive curriculum. Working on experiential education projects, you can practice your UX skill set and finish the program with a portfolio of work that showcases your UX capabilities and expertise. After completing the program, you will also have joined a community of like-minded UX professionals composed of your classmates and instructors.

This program is ideal for anyone who currently works in a creative field, such as graphic or web design, or web development. People in strategic client-facing roles, like product/project managers, strategists and consultants, are also a great fit.
