Reiki is a light-touch, holistic form of alternative health practice that invokes “Universal Life Force energy” to address a range of issues.
By learning the methods of Reiki, you can adopt an alternative health practice that promotes relaxation and stress reduction. Introduction to Reiki
This course provides a basic overview of the practices of Usui Reiki and Karuna Reiki ® . Students will be introduced to the role of Reiki practitioners, the history of Reiki, and the promotion of healing.

First Degree Reiki
Explore the history of Reiki, the energy system and the nature of Reiki energy, the Reiki Code of Ethics and the five principles or precepts. Acquire knowledge of the Reiki hand positions and learn to provide a session for yourself or others through practical application. First Degree Reiki is focused on physical healing. No experience required.

Second Degree Reiki
The focus of Second Degree Reiki is on mental and emotional healing. Learn about the Reiki symbols and distance sessions. Discuss in depth how to clear unwanted habits, empower personal goals and manifest permanent change.
Prerequisite: Mount Royal First Degree Reiki

Third Degree Reiki/ Master
The final level of Reiki training is focused on spiritual healing. Acquire skills to teach Reiki to others. Develop your practice of Reiki through meditation techniques and learn the benefits of living a spirit-based life.

Diana Mayorga Diana Mayorga began her journey into alternative medicine in 2004 at Wild Rose College for natural healing. She quickly became passionate about herbal and natural medicine, which led to her pursuing certification in Usui and Karuna Reiki. During 2006 Diana was granted the opportunity to actively practice herbal and Reiki methodologies at Wild Rose Clinic in Calgary. Diana graduated as a Clinical Herbalist, Master Flower Essence practitioner and Reiki Teacher in 2009. She also holds certificates in Iridology, Aromatherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurvedic Medicine. Having been active in her clinical practice for the since 2005, Diana now shares her knowledge as an educator for natural healing and holistic living practices. She is honored to instruct Iridology, Reiki and Herbal medicine courses through out Alberta. Her more recent seminars have focused on high quality whole foods, medicinal supplementation, women's health and the healing effects of Reiki. |
