Omid Atabati is a PhD candidate in Economics at University of Calgary, and contract faculty with the Department of Economics, Justice, and Policy Studies at Mount Royal University (Calgary, Alberta).
Prior to his appointment at Mount Royal University, Omid taught in the fields of Microeconomics and Econometrics at University of Calgary.
Omid’s primary research interests are Behavioral Economics and Applied Econometrics, with a focus on social influence. More broadly, he is interested in the intersection Psychology and Sociology with Economics.
