Mount Royal University will recognize Fatima Hassan for her exemplary contribution toward justice in the international struggle against global health inequality.

Award ceremony
Fatima Hassan received the 2022 Calgary Peace Prize. She discussed global health inequality, racism, and the legacies of colonialism, specifically focusing on the pressing problem of global COVID-19 vaccine inequality. Following Hassan’s talk, she continued the discussion with a distinguished panel consisting of:
