Bissett School of Business

Minor in Business

The minor in business allows students from programs outside the Bissett School of Business to develop an understanding of the major functional areas of business. Students with a minor in Business will be able to develop their careers with a solid understanding of how organizations are managed.

Consider a minor in Business if

  • you can see the benefit of a background in various business functions at an introductory level to assist you in managing organizations in the private, public or social sectors.
  • you believe that running an organization (a small business, a non-profit social enterprise, a division of a public institution, and so on) will be important to any of your future job opportunities.
  • you foresee fulfilling a managerial function in your future career.

Students pursing the Bachelor of Business Administration are not permitted to receive a minor in Business.
