BIO
Rik Smistad is an Associate Professor in the Accounting & Finance Department in the Bissett School of Business at Mount Royal University.  His latest projects have looked at hedging, hedge accounting and speculation in the Canadian oil and gas exploration and production industry.  He is also interested in the new CPA and its impact on Accounting education.
