Greg first sparked an interest in finance after participating in a trading simulation for an introductory finance course. Shortly thereafter, he began exploring the world of quantitative finance, wherein he found his passion for quantitative trading and risk management. With a minor in mathematics, Greg has further developed a deeper understanding of modelling financial instruments with regards to pricing, and volatility. He is constantly successful in applying his comprehensive knowledge, while working closely with the portfolio managers and investment analysts, to provide a unique quantitative perspective on opportunities in financial markets. Greg has also participated in the 2020 CFA Institute Research Challenge and has completed a directed reading course on statistical arbitrage. Outside of the SIF, you can catch Greg snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, travelling, or enjoying different types of cuisine.
