International Education in the Faculty of Health, Community and Education

The Faculty of Health, Community and Education values international and intercultural learning and scholarship opportunities which aligns with our commitment to inspire students to make a difference in the well-being of individuals, families and communities globally.

It offers many long-standing international education initiatives to achieve the purpose of globalizing the curricula of Health, Community and Education programs.

The following are examples of the impact of International experiences on the lives of our students:

Opportunities for students include international clinical, practica and work placement experiences; study tours; field schools, and local volunteer programs; and semester or year-long exchanges at partner institutions and employment in international programs delivered on campus. Likewise, students and faculty are involved in international research & scholarship projects to develop new knowledge and bring that new knowledge back to the classroom. At the heart of the Faculty is an earnest desire to develop more opportunities for students and faculty to engage in service learning opportunities locally, provincially, and beyond.
