My doctoral research completed in 2016 was focused on monitoring and predicting the fate of contaminants of emerging concern, including pharmaceuticals and illicit drugs, in municipal wastewater treatment systems.
Following my Ph.D., I worked in environmental consulting for over 5 years, where I helped oil and gas producers and mining companies across North America improve their industrial water management, reuse and disposal practices.
Concurrent with consulting, I taught the following five university-level Environmental courses at Mount Royal University and Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) in Calgary:

- Introduction to Current Environmental Issues
- Municipal Wastewater Treatment and Collection Fundamentals
