Mike Gardner

Mike Gardner holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the University of North Texas and a Master of Music Education from the University of Missouri. He teaches and conducts winds bands, choirs, directs jazz ensembles, and teaches theory and aural training. He has performed professionally for over 30 years. Mike strongly believes in the value of music education for children and has a passion for teaching music from a developmental, artistic, and intellectual perspective. He has been active on several boards and committees that advocate for the advancement of music performance and education.

In addition to Mike's passion for music, he is active in various team sports, enjoys travelling and cultural exchange, and is the proud father of two adult children, Chris and Megan.
