The Wyatt Artist-in-Residence Program
The Wyatt Artist-in-Residence Program is an important component of the Academy Program for Young Artists,
initiated by long-time Conservatory supporter Hal Wyatt in honor of his late wife, Marnie Wyatt
In music, as in other disciplines, artists often point to an educational encounter or life-changing performance by a great artist as the inspiration for their commitment to a life in the performing arts. The Wyatt Artist-in-Residence Program strives to provide our Academy students with those transformational experiences by bringing to the Mount Royal University Conservatory the best mentors and performers from around the world, thus connecting today's emerging talents with the greatest artists of our time.
Since its inception, the Wyatt Artist-in-Residence Program has afforded our students the opportunity to hear and study with an incredible array of true international stars in intimate masterclass settings.
