Calgary Chinese Orchestra

The Calgary Chinese Orchestra Association is a registered non-profit organization founded by a group of Chinese-Canadian music enthusiasts in 1997. With the goal of promoting and creating awareness of Chinese classical music, with the western world in mind, the orchestra has been successfully running for 20 years. Through the years, they have performed at annual community and cultural events, various charity and fundraising activities, as well as their own annual concert. Most recently, they were invited to perform at the Calgary Chinese Cultural Centre for the Canada 150 celebration. The Calgary Chinese Orchestra provides a fun and non-competitive environment for people who are interested in learning and experiencing the art of Chinese music and instruments.

If interested, feel free to contact us , as we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds to join!
