Improvisation Class (Gr. 5 - 7)
This fun and dynamic class is a perfect introduction to improvisation for beginners, and a great opportunity for experienced improvisers to hone their skills.
The course provides a safe and fun environment for students who enjoy collaboration and positive learning strategies to acquire the key principles and fundamentals of improvisation. Students will learn how to communicate ideas clearly, establish relationships, locations and intention between characters on stage, and have fun!
Improvisation builds the invaluable skill of listening to others, the art of action/reaction, and the importance of being truly authentic while being encouraged to take risks and think quickly and clearly under pressure. Participants will learn instant forgiveness, fearlessness in failure and celebration in success!
For students ages 10 - 12 years (Gr. 5 - 7).
