Info for faculty

Our faculty are important partners in Research and Scholarship Days, sharing opportunities and showcasing the breadth of research at Mount Royal. We invite you to get involved and join in the celebration through the opportunities outlined below.

Encourage your students to participate

While this year’s Research and Scholarship Days may look a bit different, we once again invite faculty to integrate it into their winter courses. Along with department/faculty specific events, student posters and creative works will be posted on the Research and Scholarship Days website by April 6 where you can review the research and add in comments and questions. Student oral research presentations will take place virtually on Thursday, April 8 in an online meeting format. We hope that you will encourage your students to take part in these activities either as individuals or as a class.

Attend an event and review student research

Join us in celebrating research at Mount Royal by attending a virtual event over the week of April 6-13. In addition to attending a live virtual event, make sure to check out the participating students research posters, creative works and abstracts and submit any comments or questions directly in the Google Doc for students to respond to. Google Docs with student research will be posted and accessible on April 6.

Volunteer as an adjudicator

If you’d like to be more involved with Research and Scholarship Days, volunteer as an adjudicator! Adjudicators will review and evaluate the featured student research and award our winners at the conclusion of the event. Please complete our volunteer form if you are interested in participating.
