Welcome back

Welcome to Mount Royal University

We’re working hard to open up the campus in a safe way that will allow community members to take part in activities on campus.

Members of the public are able to access campus to visit the MRU Injury and Prevention Clinic and other medical services; however many of Mount Royal’s facilities remain closed to the public. Please visit this page often for the latest updates.

The health and safety of the MRU community is everyone’s responsibility.

Coming to campus

As a member of the public on campus, here is what you need to know:

  1. Every day, before you come to campus, submit an online Health Declaration form. Remember to stay home if you are ill.
  2. When you are on campus:
    • Enter at West Gate. Use the Intercom to reach Security and let them know the purpose of your visit.
    • Disinfect your hands with sanitizer when entering campus buildings.
    • Wear a mask or face covering while indoors on campus.
    • Wear a mask or face covering outdoors if you can’t maintain a 2 metre physical distance from others.
    • Practise proper hand hygiene and wash your hands frequently.
    • Practise physical distancing.
    • Take the most direct route to your destination. If you are unsure, Security can provide you with directions.
    • Be sure to comply with all occupancy and directional signage.
    • Don’t remain on campus longer than necessary.
    • Consider downloading the ABTraceTogether mobile app.
