On behalf of Mount Royal University, welcome to the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension.

Since I began as Mount Royal’s ninth president in August, 2011, I have been impressed by the close connection Mount Royal has with Calgarians at all stages of their lives. For more than 60 years, Mount Royal has met the educational needs of lifelong learners through innovative, relevant and diverse programs. Many of these programs are developed with industry and business partners, and all are taught by experienced professionals.

Universities share some traits with the food industry, except that we feed intellectual hunger, and we view this as a lifelong proposition. I invite you to look through the website or download our guide to discover the feast of continuing education courses we offer.

These Continuing Education and Extension courses take place in the newest buildings on our Lincoln Park Campus, each designed with students in mind. Technologically advanced classrooms, ample breakout spaces and lounge areas for group projects all contribute to the learning experience and to the success of our students.
