Introduction to Funeral Service
Unsure if funeral service is the career choice for you? Acquire an overview of the funeral service profession including its history, the elements of a service, and the roles and responsibilities of funeral directors, embalmers and other funeral service professionals.
Completion of the Introduction to Funeral Service course is an entrance requirement for Funeral Service Education programs (alternate entrance requirement is 14-20 hours of documented work or volunteer experience in a funeral home). Program applications may be conditionally accepted pending completion of the Introduction to Funeral Service course.
