Certificate Program Information
Yoga Therapy students are experienced yoga teachers who want to learn the advanced skills required to create holistic treatment plans for one-on-one sessions and special populations. Yoga therapists create individualized treatment plans to address common health issues and individual well-being, recognizing the interconnection of mind, body, emotions and spirit.

Earn your certificate at the only university in Canada to offer a yoga therapy program. This 514-hour program guides you through a combination of academic and applied courses as well as a practicum in your own community. Yoga therapy is an emerging profession brought about by the tremendous popularity of yoga today and the realization that it presents a model for wellness as well as methods for helping both chronic and acute conditions.
