Massage Therapy Programs

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT - MASSAGE THERAPY DIPLOMA
The Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension at Mount Royal University is pleased to announce that our industry-leading 2200-hour Massage Therapy program is now a Diploma, approved as a designated program by the Government of Alberta through Alberta Advanced Education and Technology.

The credential change to Massage Therapy Diploma is effective immediately. Current students of the 2200-hour Massage Therapy program are automatically enrolled in the Diploma. Students wishing to enroll in the Massage Therapy Diploma in the future, beginning with the Fall 2012 intake, need to apply for the program.

All courses in both Massage Therapy programs will continue to be offered as scheduled. There are no changes to the program, schedule, graduate outcomes or competencies of those students completing the 2200-hour program at Mount Royal University. It is simply a change in credential from Certificate to Diploma. When students successfully complete the 2200-hour program, they will now receive a Diploma.
