The Centre for Complementary Health Education (CCHE) and the Funeral Director and Embalmer Extension Certificates relocated from the Holy Cross Campus to the state-of-the-art Roderick Mah Centre for Continuous Learning at Mount Royal University’s main Lincoln Park Campus in July 2011.

The Centre for Complementary Health Education had been located at the Holy Cross Campus since 1999. The move reunited the CCHE and Funeral Service programs on the same campus as the rest of Mount Royal University Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension programs.

Mount Royal's Lincoln Park Campus is a short distance from downtown Calgary. Its beautiful grounds boast a variety of modern classroom facilities and a full range of amenities for busy students, both full and part-time.

Our new home, the Roderick Mah Centre for Continuous Learning, has been constructed according to green building standards set by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.) The existing building, completed in 2006, is certified LEED Gold and the expansion, opened in 2011, will also receive LEED certification.

Transit and Parking
Mount Royal University is served by several Calgary Transit routes with stops on the east and west sides of campus. There are also carpooling and cycling options, as well as a range of parking choices.

Housing
Mount Royal students may choose to live on campus in Residence.

Students may also choose to find private accommodations. Listings are available in newspaper classified ads. As well, here are a few websites to search:

There are many others you can find by Googling "rental properties in Calgary" or a similar phrase.

Rentals and roommates wanted are also often advertised on bulletin boards around campus and on websites such as Kijiji and Craigslist.

The Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension is proud of the expertise of its instructors. To support them we have created an Instructor Information website and an Instructor Handbook.

We also host regular New Instructor Orientation sessions to familiarize Continuing Education instructors with the faculty and the campus. Ask your program administrators about upcoming dates.
