Open Studies gives you the freedom to find the program that's right for you while earning Mount Royal University credits. Sampling a few credit courses can help you decide on the program that's right for you. While you're checking things out, you earn credits toward your future Mount Royal University credential.
Each semester you can take up to five credit courses -- and as many upgrading courses as you like -- from among the hundreds of courses offered by Mount Royal University. You can study full- or part-time. If you register in three courses totaling nine credits or more, you may qualify for student loans.
Through Open Studies, you can:
- test the academic waters
- see if a particular Mount Royal University program is what you want
- upgrade your high school courses to gain admission to a program
- take courses you can apply toward a professional designation
- find your passion
- ease back into the post-secondary world if you've been away for awhile
