Virtual Career Expo coming for students
Encourage students to register today to access sessions and events that explore the future of working in Calgary and to meet directly with employers looking to hire. The Table reopens for dine in and take-out service on Monday
Visitors to campus can enjoy delicious dine in or take-out meals at The Table starting on Monday. The Table is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and offers a unique weekly menu with global flavours. Find out more at mru.ca/FoodServices.


Cougars Campus Store open for in-person shopping by appointment
You can now book online to set up a shopping appointment in advance based on limited capacity. On-campus pick up and shipping options continue to be available to the campus community. Voicemail now being targeted

Hackers are taking over voicemail accounts and using them to impersonate people, make long-distance calls and bypass two-factor authentication. It is important to secure your voicemail password just as you would your workstation credentials. That means having a unique strong password that you do not share with others or put on post-it notes. For more details, read "Keeping voicemail safe from breaches."

A multidisciplinary look at reconciliation
Assistant professor of Indigenous Studies with the Department of Humanities, Ranjan Datta, PhD, is the editor of the newly-released Indigenous Reconciliation and Decolonization: Narratives of Social Justice and Community Engagement, which “addresses the ethical and practical issues at stake in the reconciliation of Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.” Datta is also one of Mount Royal’s new Canada Research Chairs.

Start of semester emails, with option for distribution list sign-up

As each semester begins (August/September and December/January), areas with ongoing employee activities can send an email to all employees describing their semester activities. Employees can then choose to opt in to that area's distribution list (Google Group) for regular updates. If you would like to send an email and/or set up a Google Group for your area, please contact Marketing and Communications for guidelines.
