Mount Royal offers a range of professional project management training that is recognized in Calgary and around the globe. Our flagship certificates provide a thorough foundation in the Project Management Knowledge Areas, preparing you to write the Project Management Institute (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® exam and the Project Management Professional (PMP)® exam.

We also offer advanced training and specialized programs for the construction industry. Keep up-to-date with our professional development seminars on current topics, offered every semester and qualifying for Professional Development Units.

With our online learning options, your professional development takes place where and when you want it. For the Fall 2021 Semester, we’re holding the majority of our courses online. Our remote learning options include live, online courses — instructor-facilitated classes held at scheduled times via Google Meet/Classroom — and online courses featuring our learning management system with students accessing materials, participating in discussion boards and completing assignments according to the course schedule. PMBOK Guide® update

The PMI is updating A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide). The PMBOK® Guide Seventh Edition is scheduled for release in August 2021. For updates on our new program, visit our Seventh Edition page.

Students who are currently enrolled in — or who wish to enroll in — our existing programs based on the PMBOK® Guide Sixth Edition have until December 2022 to complete all their courses. See our FAQ page for more information.
