1. What is MRU Giving Day?

Giving Day is a 24-hour celebration of the MRU community’s generosity. It's your chance to open doors, remove barriers and elevate every student - one gift, one story, one connection at a time.

This year, Giving Day is Tuesday, December 1, 2026. In just one day, you can help students grow beyond expectations - supporting scholarships, mental health programs, immersive learning, and more. Make your Giving Day donation and have it matched up to $500 while matching funds last. Your impact can be even greater!

Our MRU Giving Day Toolkit is designed to make it simple for you to build support for an area you are passionate about. So, let’s get started!

Here’s how to make the biggest impact:

Share: Post to your social media and tell your network why MRU matters to you.
Tell your story: Your personal connection makes MRU Giving Day real for others.
Give and encourage others to give: Make a donation to any area on campus (and have it matched up to $500!) Then share the MRU Giving Day link and cheer people on.
