Garry De Boeck

Jazz, Percussion Faculty

Garry De Boeck has been a professional musician for over 30 years. His extensive performance experience includes tours throughout North America in clubs and concert venues for musicals, theatre and orchestras. Garry has worked with artists in every musical genre, but his main love is jazz. He has played with P.J. Perry, Tommy Banks, Pat LaBarberra and Lee Konitz among countless other jazz veterans. A graduate of the Oscar Peterson School in Toronto, he has studied with some of the finest jazz drummers around, including Philly Joe Jones. Currently, Garry performs in Calgary and teaches at The Mount Royal College Conservatory, where he has been on the Music Faculty for over 20 years.
