The Conservatory is known as Calgary’s leading performing arts educator for students of all ages and abilities. From beginner to advanced, learn from world-class instructors with real-life experience in music, theatre and performance.
We believe in building a lifelong love of music and performance by offering a holistic approach to education in our students starting with babies through to adulthood. Our instructors believe in fostering your personal and professional development to achieve whatever your goals may be, big or small!
Private lessons
Learn a new instrument, find your voice, build confidence on stage or hone your existing artistic skill set with private lessons in music or speech arts taught by highly qualified instructors. From scales to sonatas, private lessons are available for all ages and ability levels.
New students can fill out the private lesson request form and we will contact you by email to be matched with an instructor. Instructor rates range from $69 to $110 per hour. If you have already taken private lessons at Mount Royal and want to register for another term, you can do so online through your CE Student Portal.
