Key Dates and Program Hours
- Bursary application intake starts November 28, 2025 and closes April 1, 2026
- PD/Spring Break Camp registration opens on November 19, 2025 at 8:30am (MST)
- Summer Camp registration opens on January 19, 2026 at 8:30am (MST)
- Please note that there are no camps on July 1, 2026 (Canada Day) and August 3, 2026 (Heritage Day)
Program Hours:
Programs begin promptly at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm each day. MRU Camps also offers complimentary before and after care from 8:00am - 9:00am and 4:00pm - 5:00pm respectively.
Parents/guardians are welcome to drop off their camper at any point during before care. This care will take place in the homerooms of campers assigned camps, under the supervision of camp staff. During this time campers will play low energy games with staff and other campers, have free time to hangout, get to know their peers, or read. Staff will provide games and books for campers to use, as well as lead low or mid energy games for the campers to participate in.

2026 Spring/Winter Registration Cheat Sheet
Kindergarten: suited for students aged 4-5 (Kinder camps are restricted by age at the start of camp)
Gr 1-3: suited for students entering Grades 1 to 3 (ages 5 to 9) in the 2026-2027 academic year
Gr 4-6: suited for students entering Grades 4 to 6 (ages 9 to 12) in the 2026-2027 academic year
Gr 7-9: suited for students entering Grades 7 to 9 (ages 12 to 15) in the 2026-2027 academic year
