Naturescape invites campers to slow down, dig in and experience the world around them in new ways. Through gardening, crafting, games and exploration, they’ll discover how the outdoors can be both a classroom and a playground.
At the MRU Camps Garden, campers will plant seeds, water flowers and learn how sunlight and soil work together to help things grow. They’ll take part in nature-themed experiments and creative projects that explore the science of plants, insects and ecosystems. Short hikes to parks such as Fish Creek, North Glenmore or Weaselhead give campers the chance to connect what they’ve learned to the world beyond campus.
After time spent on the trails and in the garden, campers can look forward to a refreshing daily swim before heading home with new experiences, skills and a deeper connection to nature.
