MRU Camps

Senior Achievers offers youth with physical disabilities an exciting week of discovery, creativity and connection. Campers will take part in a mix of adapted recreation, team-building challenges and creative projects that encourage exploration and confidence.

Each day brings something different, from hands-on S.T.E.M. experiments and art activities to inclusive games and problem-solving tasks that spark imagination and teamwork. With supportive staff and an encouraging environment, campers get the chance to learn new skills, build friendships and celebrate what makes them unique.

Note: This camp is reserved for campers with physical disabilities. If your child experiences a developmental or intellectual disability that co-exists with a physical disability, please contact mrucamps@mtroyal.ca to make arrangements.

MRU Youth Programming (MRU Camps) is a founding partner of the Calgary Adapted Hub powered by Jumpstart. As part of this partnership the Calgary Adapted Hub is completing a research study to understand the impact programs, such as our Parasports summer camp, have on the physical activity, participation, quality of life, and the overall health and wellbeing of our registrants.
