COVID-19 restrictions and impacts to Faculty of Continuing Education

The provincial response to the COVID-19 pandemic is a complex and continually changing situation which impacts teaching and learning at Mount Royal University. Mount Royal has diverse groups of students, faculty, staff, employees, partners and other important stakeholders. At times, the provincial restrictions and requirements impact these groups differently. Identifying, understanding and then communicating these unique implications to all stakeholders can take time. We appreciate your patience.

If you are a student or instructor involved with the Faculty of Continuing Education*, the impacts of the provincial government restrictions and requirements may differ from those that apply to degree-granting programming.

This page contains the most up-to-date information restrictions and requirements that apply specifically to non-degree/non-diploma students and instructors in the Faculty of Continuing Education. Continuing Education students registered in occupational programs and the Transitional Vocational Program should refer to the University’s student COVID-19 policies

For Conservatory students, guardians of students and instructors, visit the Conservatory’s COVID-19 information page for guidelines. Policies that apply more broadly can be found at

* excluding Massage Therapy, Funeral Service, Personal Fitness Trainer and the Transitional Vocational Program.
