You may be eligible for funding to help cover the cost of your Continuing Education courses. Check out the following opportunities to learn more.
Employer support
Many employers offer professional development funding as part of their benefit packages. Check with your employer about funding opportunities available to you.
Canada-Alberta Job Grant
If the courses you take with us are related to your work, your employer (or future employer) may be able to help with funding through the Canada-Alberta Job Grant (CAJG). CAJG is an employer-driven program that covers 2/3 of eligible training costs — up to $10,000 per employee per year. Employers can access up to $300,000 per fiscal year. If hiring and training an unemployed Albertan, up to 100% of training costs could be covered, up to $15,000 per trainee.
A training quote is a requirement of this program — and we can help. Contact us at corporatetraining@mtroyal.ca for more details.
