Connor was a bright and thoughtful soul who spent his 28 years fearlessly following his dreams. He touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and warm personality. He loved the outdoors and found great joy in snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, golf, cycling and hiking. In quieter times he enjoyed reading, playing his guitar and chess.
He spent several years after high school travelling to pursue his outdoor pursuits. When he returned home and started his studies, he found his passion in history and philosophy at MRU. With his enthusiasm, dedication and insightfulness he soon emerged as a leader in the classroom. He was always ready to participate in a class discussion and would often seek out his instructors after class to continue the conversation. He was so appreciative that they always had time for him.
Connor not only excelled, but also found great joy and purpose in academia. In the spirit of his humble and generous nature this scholarship has been established to support current and future students studying history and/or philosophy. He would have been so pleased to be able to support the achievements of others.
