MS Excel Certificate of Completion
Discover what Excel can do for you! Explore producing everything from basic financial statements to advanced statistical reports. Begin with the introductory course to build your confidence or enrol in an upper level class to learn how to use the most sophisticated features of the software.
These courses are offered in PC computer labs. Students are not required to bring their own computer to class.

MS Excel, Level 1
Discover the basics of an electronic spreadsheet. Learn correct terminology, mouse and keyboard movements and be introduced to the MS Excel environment. Learn how to enter data and apply formatting through a variety of methods. Perform calculations by creating formulas and using simple functions.

MS Excel, Level 2
Explore a variety of Excel’s built-in specialized functions beyond Level 1. Learn multiple ways of using a spreadsheet as a database (list) to organize, sort, and filter data. Learn how to use database functions and learn how to create pivot tables, pivot charts, slicers, and timelines.

MS Excel, Level 3
Learn how to create chart templates, share workbooks link workbooks, customize charts, save them as templates, and use Sparklines. Analysis tools including goal seek, solver, scenarios, macros, lookup functions, and auditing a worksheet are also covered.
