Lamaze Accredited Childbirth Educator Seminar NEW
Lamaze International is considered the gold standard of childbirth education providers and the Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) certification is the only childbirth educator program that has passed rigorous standards set by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
This seminar will help you develop the knowledge and skills to build, deliver, and evaluate a childbirth education program for expectant parents.
Lamaze Childbirth Educators are confident in teaching women and their families:
Seminar attendees typically include nurses, midwives, doulas, educators, physicians, physiotherapists and parents.
The Lamaze Learning Guide is not required for this course, however is recommended for people new to the field of childbirth. The Lamaze Learning Guide is required to write the certification examine, which is a separate process. Refer to the Lamaze International website for more information.
- Lamaze childbirth educators may work in a variety of urban and rural settings
- Lamaze certification may be used to enhance current professional skills or establish a new childbirth educator career
- This course consists of an online component (course pre-readings) and a three day in-class workshop (25 hours total)
- The workshop is scheduled on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
