MRU alum Derek Rucki started Inspired Go at the beginning of 2019 with co-founder Jon Karwacki. Rucki describes Inspired Go as “super local,” providing ready-to-eat meals to Calgary's downtown.

SARJESA Tea ❯

Founded by alumna Alexandra Sangster, Sarjesa began as a final project for an Indigenous Studies course facilitated by Dr. Renae Watchman. Working with Elders and community members on blend and packaging, Sarjesa's goal is to create highly respectful products with a variety of social and environmental impacts.

Alumna Dayna McCombs co-founded Devon + Lang (Formerly OKE Apparel) with her husband Tyler McCombs in 2019 to produce premium boxers for men who move. They also make reusable filtered face masks and donate 20% of all mask profits to charity.

Launched by alumna Samaria Nancy Cardinal, Mystical Metis is a member of Canadian Council of Aboriginal Business as well as Indigenous Tourism Alberta. All of the items are designed by Indigenous artists who receive a percentage of the sales.
