Support peace and justice studies

The Canadian Muslims for Peace and Justice Award supports a full-time student who is studying this burgeoning field that encompasses a wide range of issues and draws on a multitude of theoretical frameworks (such as decolonial theory, feminism, international political sociology, international relations).

The creation of this award, funded by community members and fellows who are invested in furthering this area of study, will encourage MRU students to delve more deeply into the issues that impact society today. Awards like the Canadian Muslims for Peace and Justice Award provide the financial assistance that will allow students to focus more fully on their academic journey and is an investment in their future.
