In-person classes to resume on Monday, Sept. 20; MRU adopts the Restrictions Exemption Program

Sept. 16, 2021

Mount Royal University thanks students and employees for their patience as we work with the provincial government to adapt as quickly as possible to the public state of health emergency.

As of Monday, Sept. 20, MRU has adopted the provincial government’s Restrictions Exemption Program and will be returning to in-person learning.

In order to come to campus, students and employees must meet the requirements of the program:

  • Students and employees must have declared their vaccination status as partially or fully vaccinated.
  • If unvaccinated or undeclared, students and employees are required to participate in the campus rapid testing program.
  • All students, faculty and staff who have attested that they are vaccinated will be required to provide proof of vaccination and verification, starting on Monday, Sept. 20.
  • Follow all of Mount Royal’s existing health measures.

In-person classes remain cancelled today through Sunday, Sept. 19. Online classes will continue as scheduled. More information is available at mru.ca/COVID19.
