The Board will continue to work with the administration to advance Mount Royal through its transition towards becoming a new kind of undergraduate institution. Mount Royal will focus on closing the gap between traditional universities and colleges, opening new avenues of study. Rather than duplicating what existing universities offer, Mount Royal will add to the spectrum of post-secondary opportunities available in Alberta, all within our vision of being the leading undergraduate institution in Canada.
The Board of Governors will continue to support Mount Royal in finding new and innovative methods of delivering programs, whether they are university-level transfer/degree programs, applied degrees, diplomas or certificates to ensure that these programs are relevant and enable our students to achieve their educational and career goals and objectives.
Above all, the Board is committed to strengthening Mount Royal's reputation by providing our students with exceptional learning experiences. As Mount Royal evolves, we are committed to preserving our learning/teaching-focused environment which ensures small class sizes and strong student/instructor relationships.
