Support Pride

Established in 2016, the Pride Scholarship supports MRU students who are members and allies of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Established by a committed group of community members, the scholarship was supported through annual fundraising events and continues to provide financial support to MRU students based on academic and community involvement. Since its inception, the award has gone to 11 deserving students, and is currently awarded at $1,000 annually.

Since 2012, Mount Royal University has partnered with Calgary Pride to celebrate love, acceptance, inclusion and the 2SLGBTQ+ community. You can find more information on MRU Pride stories and activities here.
