
Since 2012, Mount Royal University has partnered with Calgary Pride to celebrate love, acceptance, inclusion and the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
The energy is building for Pride 2026, and we welcome you to stand in pride with us as we celebrate our culture of community and belonging.
Calgary Pride 2026
Pride Week (Aug. 31 to Sept. 6): Calgary Pride Calgary Pride transforms the city into a vibrant tapestry of 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility through seven curated experience "threads," spanning nightlife, performance, family programming, arts markets, and community gatherings across the city, and culminating in the iconic Pride Parade on Sunday, Sept. 6. Learn more.
Parade (Sunday, Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. downtown): March with Mount Royal at the annual parade. Enjoy vibrant floats, electrifying performances, energetic music, plenty of colour and thousands of Calgarians coming together to celebrate. Parade entry is free and all attendees will receive a complimentary shirt. Parade registration is open until Sept. 2.
