Bonnie Bi

Bonnie is an enthusiastic musician who started playing piano at the age of five. When Bonnie was 12, her passion for music led her to attend the Central Music School of Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Through her professional training and study with Prof. Polina Fedotova, she received her Doctoral diploma and Masters Degree in Piano Performance, Chamber Concertmaster and Music Education.
She has extensive performing experience and she has participated in a variety of concerts, recitals and competition in China, Russia, Italy, Singapore and Canada. She placed third at the 23rd Chopin International Competition in Italy and has obtained numerous outstanding performance rewards.
Bonnie has worked as a solo piano performer and an accompanist for Symphony, Chamber, and Choir Orchestras in China and Russia. Beginning in 2019, Bonnie worked as a piano instructor and an accompanist in Winnipeg before moving to Calgary in 2022. She teachers both Royal Conservatory of Music and ABRSM syllabi for all levels and ages students. Many of her students who have taken the examinations have done so successfully and received Certificates of Merit and Distinction.
She enjoys sharing her love of music with students, and looks forward to helping them find their own unique talents and music paths.
