Choir director Elizabeth Paynter has been a music specialist with the Calgary Board of Education for over 30 years and from early in her teaching career, began directing choirs in the Calgary choral community. She is currently the director of the children's choirs at Mount Royal University, the founder and Artisitc Director of the award winning EnChor Chamber Choir, and she is the Director of Music at Scarboro United Church. Elizabeth spent the 2018/19 school year teaching music in London, UK, and also sang with the New London Singers, an auditioned chamber choir. Elizabeth is known for making music accessible to all, using her extensive teaching experience to guide and motivate musicians of all ages to the highest level of achievement, with much joy and laughter along the way.
