Cycling can be a fast, fun, and inexpensive way to travel to Mount Royal University. Parking and Trasportation is committed to supporting cyclists and is continuously upgrading infrastructure, cycling resources and end-of-trip facilities for our campus community.
Mount Royal University encourages staff and students to take advantage of bicycle commuting as an alternative mode of transportation to and from campus. If you are cycling to campus we provide bicycle racks for convenience. You can also rent PedalPods or an underground storage space for safe and secure bicycle parking. Underground bike storage and PedalPod rentals can be purchased in-person at Parking & Transportation Services.
Bicycles are not allowed inside buildings on campus. Bicycles indoors are a tripping hazard and may block pathways or exits during an emergency; they also increase wear-and-tear inside our buildings. We appreciate your help maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our buildings by keeping bicycles outside.

Bike Racks
Bike Racks are available in various locations on campus and can be used by anyone who rides a bicycle to campus. We encourage you to use a bike lock when leaving your bicycle at a bike rack. For bike rack locations, view the map at the bottom of the page.
PedalPod Bike Locker RentalsPedalPod rentals are $144 (July 1 to June 30 - 12 months). They can accommodate helmets, rain gear, clothing, backpacks, and other items. These bike lockers are 36.25" wide at the door and 55.5” tall. PedalPod rentals can be purchased in-person at Parking & Transportation Services. Riddell Library and Learning Center facilitates underground bike storage and change rooms. This facility features a bike storage room, as well as separate men's and women's change rooms and personal lockers (day use, or long term rentals). Underground bike storage can be purchased in-person at Parking & Transportation Services.
