How to go online
There are two requirements for access to online printing.
The first requirement is a valid MR Lotus Notes account. If you do not have an account, simply call the ITS Help Desk at 6000 and they will set one up for you. Even if you choose not to use Lotus Notes this will establish the user ID and password which will allow you access to the order form and ensure the privacy of your work. If you are using the web to access the online order form your password will be the same as your MyMRU password.
The second requirement is to e-mail your name, your local (or contact phone number) and the FOAP number you use most oftern to dbailey@mtroyal.ca . You will be put into the database and a link will be e-mailed to you.
How does it work
Lotus Notes
Once access has been established, follow the instructions from the e-mail to get the database setup. Double clicking on this icon will open a window, this window will have a 'new order' button on the left hand side.
New Order
Double clicking on 'New Order' will bring up the order form. The top of the form will already be populated with the pertinent information to process your order including an order number in red. As you scroll down the form filling in the instructions we will need to complete the order it is important to note that any field with a red asterisk must have information in it or the process will fail when the order is submitted. After the instructions have been completed, click on the attachment button on the tool strip and attach a file or series of files as you would with standard e-mail. Finally click on “submit” and your order will be sent to Document Services. An e-mail confirmation will be sent to your Lotus Notes.
Internet
On the left hand bar of the Document Services home page, double click on the link: Online Order Form or click on the purple license plate on the right hand side of page. You will be asked to put in your Lotus Notes user id and your MyMRU password. If a security warning is displayed, just click on “Trusted User”, this warning will only appear the first time you use the form. Once the form is displayed, complete and attach files just like in Lotus Notes.
